DBi UK recognized with safety award at A-one+ second annual supplier recognition awards

Highways service specialist A-one+ has announced the winners of its second annual supplier recognition awards. The awards recognised the contribution made by suppliers through their collaborative relationship with A-one+, which is a joint venture of Costain, Colas and CH2M.

Operations director Stuart Cordier said, “A-one+ has been maintaining and improving some of the busiest motorway networks and trunk roads since 2009. We acknowledge that our success is a result of the close working partnerships we have with our suppliers. Our awards have been designed to thank all those suppliers who have helped our success story. Thanks to the support of all our suppliers we are all working to deliver a better road network.”

DBi Services was awarded first place in the ‘Safe Working’ category in recognition for its commitment to safety training. Special mention was made of the fact that during the year it had closed the company for three days specifically to deliver a series of seminars, workshops, assessments and training.

Ross Bullerwell, DBi UK Managing Director said, “This is an award for the guys who go out there night after night delivering quality workmanship, becoming more efficient year on year, but never ever sacrificing safety. Every employee for DBi UK goes home safe to their families each night; recognition from our biggest UK customer A-one+ shows that DBi leads the way in working safely on their schemes."
