Roger Zino is the Chief Executive Officer of DBi Services, a global leader in infrastructure maintenance, management and operations solutions to government agencies, railways, utilities and private industries. Roger joined DBi in 2016 as the first non-family CEO. Roger’s responsibilities include setting the company’s strategic direction, designing the organization, advancing its systems and processes, energizing the culture and ensuring the company operates safely. An experienced, energetic chief executive with a proven track record of success, Roger is a Socratic leader who possesses a unique, integrated set of strategic, operating and analytic capabilities. With 30+ years of extensive expertise in service businesses, Roger’s background includes positions of President, CEO, Vice Chairman and Partner and in front-line operations management, as well as experience as an Auditor and a CPA. He currently serves as an Executive Board Member of Spark, a non-profit that inspires and mentors middle school students in underserved urban communities by engaging them with the business community, and is also a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Transportation, Infrastructure and Logistics Committee. Roger holds a BSBA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard University.
Dr. Mark Robinson joined DBi Services in 2014 as a Senior Vice President for the Asset Management Business Unit. In 2016 Mark transitioned into the role of President / Chief Operating Officer where he is currently responsible for running the company’s operations, and growing the business while ensuring top-notch operations and excellent customer relationships. Mark has 23+ years’ experience in the transportation field, with 18 of those primarily focused on asset management and performance-based maintenance contracting. In his previous role with DBi, Mark led an incredible operations team of managers and field staff, while also leading/assisting entering new markets, striking innovative deals and partnerships, and developing and implementing new solutions. Prior to joining DBi, Mark spent 19 years as an engineer, manager and executive with a large $11B per year Government Consulting Contractor. Mark holds a B.Sc.Eng., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. He is a licensed professional engineer and a certified Project Management Professional. Mark serves as the Chair of the Transportation Research Board’s Maintenance and Operations Management Committee and has served on several Boards of Directors.
Gary Edwards has 25+ years of experience in operations, finance and general management with mid and large-sized organizations. Gary joined DBi Services in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer with a diverse background including both privately-owned and public companies in the manufacturing, distribution, technology, startup and consumer product industries in the United States, Europe, Canada, South America and South Africa. His specialties encompass P&L responsibility in competitive manufacturing, installation and distribution environments, along with strategic planning, information technology implementations, mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, human resources, and domestic and international finance and treasury operations. Gary holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, as well as a post-graduate certificate in the Theory of Accountancy and Higher Diploma in Taxation. Gary is also a Chartered Accountant, South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Joseph G. Ferguson served as outside counsel to DBi Services for 16 years before joining DBi Services as General Counsel in January of 2009. His responsibilities include working with the DBi Services Management Team to ensure the company remains in compliance with all statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations. Joe is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law.
John LeFante first joined DBi Services in 2000 as a Regional Branch Manager. During John's tenure he has held several positions within the company enabling him to assist within all Business Units to ensure the implementation of company processes and procedures. As the Vice President of Operations for the International Business Unit, his responsibilities now include the development of operational protocols within DBi Services' international operations while offering support to the overall initiatives of the company. Although now US-based, John had spent several years living abroad assisting locally in the initial phases of DBi's international expansion. John has a consistent record of accomplishment in business development and operational strategy. John serves on the Transportation Research Board’s Roadside Maintenance Operations Committee and is a member of the International Road Federation Board of Directors.
Amy Plasha joined DBI in 2017 as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her role as CHRO, Amy leads all human resources functions across the organization ensuring best practices and strategies are developed, implemented and enhanced in order to support the company’s mission and culture. Her responsibilities include employee development, talent assessment, recruitment and retention, compensation management, policy development and administration, performance management, benefits administration, employee relations, succession planning, compliance and employee engagement. With over 25 years in the human resources field, she has held key positions at other service industries both in the private and public sector with extensive Board experience. She has also served on numerous advisory committees within the health care and financial services field. She holds a BA in Political Science from Douglass College- Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
